experience quality reliability TransLanTech Sound

TransLanTech Sound is proud to announce the latest additions to its increasing roster of dealers, Media Technologie Service in Nogent-sur-Marne, France, and Progressive Concepts, a radio broadcast equipment supplier outside of Chicago.

Media Technologie, based in the Ile-de-France region, is a provider of consulting, integration, and product sales to the broadcast industry. Manager Cedric Maufroy is pleased to provide top-notch digital audio processing to his customers.

Progressive Concepts was founded by Eric Hoppe in 1990 as a source for high-quality broadcast products and service. Hoppe says, “It is our philosophy that our broadcast equipment products are of such high quality that, when you try them, you’ll want to keep them. The Ariane Sequel fits right in.”

Today TransLanTech has announced a change in ownership. Co-founder David Reaves has moved on to pursue other interests, leaving the company in the hands of former partner Jim Huste.

In an interview with Paul McLane of Radio World, Huste said, “Although TransLanTech had established a strong reputation for quality and reliability, like many small companies, we found our progress slowed after the economic crash of 2008. David felt he needed more financial resources to secure his future, and his interests had shifted somewhat over the years. By the end of 2011, we had formalized the separation. TransLanTech remains a limited liability company, and at the present time, I am the sole owner.

“After 10 years in the market, there is still a strong demand for the Ariane product line, and I am looking forward to opening new markets in South America and Asia,” Huste continued. “We are also actively looking for new niche products. I’m certain that there is a hands-on CE out there mulling over an idea that could become the next Product of the Year. I’d like to use our expertise and reputation to bring it to market.”
